Support the Gulf Coast

Reposted from MySpace from a suggestion by ZMT.

Thanks ZMT. Here is something we CAN do to make some tiny dent in the catastrophe faced by the Gulf Coast.

Wherever possible, let’s “buy Louisiana!”http://neworleanswebsites.com/cat/lap/lap.html

  1. Well, they have stopped the leak for awhile,,,,,but, I can't help but wonder about all that pressure under the Gulf,,,,will it be permanently stopped,,,will the oil rig start pumping again,,,,or, will nature take it's course,,,,or, will "politicians" take care of it,,,,,,

  2. I am back,,,their still cleaning up,,,,it's still coming in to the pristine beaches of the Gulf Coast,,,,all I hear is it costs $$$$$, and, I realize that….but, how long is it going to leak,,,,I guess that depends on how much oil the earth is spewing out….and, only the earth knows….times are changing,,,things are happening,,,and, I do not mean political predictions,,,,,,be prepared

  3. well, i thought about the problem in the Gulf of Mexico, and it seems to me that BP needs to stop the leak,,,and shouldn't that have been a priority with these big companies before they start ruining the earth….oh, i forgot we need this oil,,,,please,,i do not mean to be disgruntled,,,and we do have to clean this mess up,,,but,,isn't the source of the problem still back at the oil rig,,,if i bake a cake, and it burns,,,either the oven is too hot or my timing is off,,,,it just seems people like me,,,no one is listening,,,,so sad,,

  4. well, i,too, am "just rambling on",,,but, it looks like that is all we can do,,,,my heart aches,,,,more than people cleaning up the beaches,it is still coming—-is it going to be stopped,,,,this is just the way i feel,,,change is coming,,,,,,,

  5. I think this is a wonderful idea. I have birthdays coming up and of course Christmas. And we should definately give an explanation as to why we are buying these products. Thanks for the idea.JenniferMonterey California

  6. At first it was the Louisiana coast. Then it was the Mississippi Coast. Next it was Alabama. Now the Florida Keys. I lost campgrounds, hiking trails, and our wildlife is dieing all over. Dolphins, turtles, and fish wash ashore dead. Birds drown in the oil. If the birds get just a little on them then they land in other lakes and waterways spreading the oil. People are getting sick and mobile clinics are moved into Grande Isle La. It is sickening and I hate to think of what all will come out of this. Restaurants cannot get the right seafood for menus. Tourism is at a low. People are losing jobs. Marshlands ruined. I know many will say I am just rambling on. In time this could be up the Atlantic Coast. Then what???
