  1. Charlie, It was an amazing play to watch! My bff and I had a blast. I meet a couple of really great gals because of you! It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and giving you my little gift from Florida. Although I know it was cheesy I hope you enjoyed it. When I'm a little down I watch the video clip of the performance and it cheers me up right away! Yours truely,Lynn

  2. Charlie this was a wonderful show! I feel blessed to have the chance to see it. I sat with Mary beside me and Jo behind me. They both knew the show well. What a treat, I laughed so hard my ribs hurt afterward!

  3. I often look at this video. It's always wonderful to sing and play for you to see. When there is a DVD of Spamalot to buy? Eventually, I hope you do well to live on the stage. That is on my wish list. I wish you, your family and your team still very much success and just keep going.Greetings from LeipzigKerstin

  4. It's been YEARS since I've gone to the OP…this show might be a reason to make a retuen visit. Unfortunately I just found out about the show.If I finish dealing with dispensing tickets Saturday to an upcoming Navy Band concert, I'll try to make the show. At this point in my life I could use a good laugh!Cheers!

  5. This looks so awesome! Looks like you are doing a terrific job, as well as having fun. The dancers are lovely. Thanks for posting! Wishing i could be there to see it live. Never been to a play before, looks like such fun. Will definatly have to add to my to do list. Kudos to all you fans that got to go and see you perform live.

  6. Charlie, you were so fantastic as King Arthur. I loved the show and still watch the previews over and over again. Like Karen I was so busy watching King Arthur that I wasn't paying much attention to what else was going on. Fortunately I get to see it again tomorrow night. Meeting you after the show was the thrill of a lifetime. Thank you for taking the time to meet with your fans. You are a wonderful person.

  7. I'm really looking forward to seeing Spamalot with my mother on September 9th. We can't wait to see you perform on stage and it's going to be a blast. You're an awesome actor and I just want to say thank you. Thanks for being a wonderful actor and have a good week.

  8. I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this video, and like the pathetic sap that I am..actually get tears in my eyes. I'm so happy for you, it's so obvious you are having the time of your life and the reviews are just phenomenal. What an ego boost in a very difficult industry! I am so blessed to be able to come to see this in September, not only to witness a great performance(and Rachel's voice blows me away), but to be with the wonderful women I have met through you. I can not even begin to tell you what these girls mean to me. Being a huge fan of MP and the Holy Grail is just the icing on an already decadent cake. Counting the days!!

  9. I love this video preview! It really captures the joy and frivolity that I saw last Saturday afternoon. I now wish I had the opportunity to go see the play again, because I found myself so mesmerized with Charlie's performance as King Arthur that I know I wasn't paying as much attention to the other performers as I should have. But, alas, the fall semester begins on Monday, and my life soon will be consumed with the wonders of academia.I do want to mention something (which might be a bit of a spoiler for those who have not yet seen the play). When I saw the character of the Historian (of course, you know I would notice that), I burst out laughing at the way he was dressed. I had a history prof in grad school who dressed almost exactly the same way (except his hair and mustache were grey). So I can confirm that at least in this case, the costuming was historically accurate.Again, bravo performance, Charlie. And, in case you're wondering, as soon as the nails are put in the wall in my office (which might be as soon as tomorrow), the signed playbill and photo of the two of us will be hung for all of my students and colleagues to see (now all I need is a life-sized cardboard version of your King Arthur to complete the "shrine"). I truly had a blast last Saturday afternoon, and, from everything I've read, it appears that you are thoroughly enjoying your role.

  10. Wow! Charlie, you are such an amazingly talented actor. I had no idea you could sing as well. I am excitedly looking forward to seeing your performance in a little over two weeks. By then you'll have done the play so many times that you'll not only be doing it in your sleep but probably subconsciously everywhere you go as well. LOL ;O) See ya there!!
